Optimizing cloud architecture for cost savings and resource management 

The challenge

Our client, a multi-million-dollar software company, had significant organic growth that resulted in an inefficient infrastructure. As the company expanded, their Azure environment required re-architecture to fully unlock potential cost savings. We were brought in to lead the re-architecture process and manage the migration to the new infrastructure with minimal downtime. To ensure a smooth transition, we implemented a phased approach, starting with upgrading the environment to capture immediate cost savings through an optimized Azure setup.

The solution

We discovered that the client was overpaying for quality assurance, costing them tens of thousands of dollars each month. To address this, we carefully designed the remaining phases to focus only on the critical tests needed during migration, minimizing risk. We then created a parallel infrastructure, migrated the systems, and retired the old setup.
